My love for dogs started at a very early age when I would visit my Gram at her apartment and loved spending time with her Irish Setter, Casey.  I was also very fond of my Aunt's West Highland White Terrier, Shamus, and began to beg my parents for our own dog.  My dreams came true at 12 years old with our very own Westie, Murphy.  Fast forward to my adult years, where I owned two German Shepherd Dogs consecutively and trained them from puppy-hood.  Meadow first, then Barley, were the bestest Sheppies!! Each with totally different personalities and their own "Sheppie" traits.  

More recently, my husband and I had each been dog-less for a few years and talked about adopting a Shepherd or Shepherd mix.  An opportunity came up to re-home a five year old female German Shepherd named Dallas.  Unbeknownst to us we were adopting a working line German Shepherd Dog who hadn't had much training and had some behavioral issues.  Long story short we immediately dove into the current world of dog training via YouTube.  We quickly realized that we needed a little more help than that and hired a trainer that didn't quite work for us, but found another who helped us tremendously.  That trainer moved away which forced us to continue and strengthen our dog training education.  The progress we have made with Dallas thus far has been life changing.  And here I am today, ready to help you create a great relationship with your family's furry friends.
